Michael Linett was graduated from the University of Delaware in 1981,
and began his career working for companies in purchasing and materials
management. Mike developed a series of PC-based computer programs for
inventory and materials management, eventually starting his own company.
In 1989, Mr. Linett incorporated Zerowait in the state of Delaware.
Over the following 10 years or so, he provided computer programming & consulting
for large international organizations, including Wartsila Diesel, Sylvan
Learning Systems, HiTech, and others. During this period, Zerowait created
and implemented inventory management programs in the USA, Singapore,
Sweden, and Holland. In 1998, moving away from software, Mike became
involved more deeply in the hardware side of the Internet--load balancing,
data storage, caching, and backup technologies--growing Zerowait into
the strong parts, service and support company it is today. Mike Linett's
creed is that the company's direction should always put customer requirements
first and he strives to keep it that way.
