Production & Inventory Manager

Job Title– Production & Inventory Manager

Reports to: Vice President, Operations

The Production and Inventory Manager is responsible for production operations at the plant including safety, maintenance, inventory control, job scheduling and bills of materials.

  • Work with the operational, sales, and engineering teams to develop and execute the production schedule to meet customer demands.

  • Ensure job production quality and performance are maintained.

  • Create, Maintain and Update Bills of Materials, as products change and items are superseded.

  • Ensure production areas are stocked with appropriate materials.

  • Ensure inventory levels through regularly scheduled audits (at least quarterly) and advise management when items need to be replenished.

  • Track high priority items closely and advise management immediately if replenishment is required.

  • Monitor and audit remote depots in the UK and Australia, working directly with the managers of those remote sites.

  • If there is overstock or unnecessary items, work to find sources willing to buy it rather than discarding it.

  • Assist with shipping and perform shipping/receiving functions when shipping manager is absent or needs assistance to meet shipping schedule.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and lift up to 50 Lbs, as further listed below:

  • Stand/ Walk for long periods of time while working with Engineering on job processing.

  • Able to sit, stoop, bend, and crouch on a regular basis to check equipment or supplies in low-lying areas.

  • Able to work in temperatures from 50-100 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity levels as high as 98% at times throughout the day

  • Must have excellent driving record, and the ability to drive vehicles with standard transmission.

  • Observes safety and security procedures, i.e. MSDS, Emergency Evacuations, Building Security; Reports potentially unsafe conditions and/or injuries: near miss/incidents/accidents; Uses equipment and materials properly.

Education and Experience: College Degree preferred, or four years of relevant experience
Salary Range: $45K - $60K Depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday - Friday.
